چکیده

The operation of wireless battery chargers at multiple switching frequencies may lead to a noticeable suppression conducted and radiated electromagnetic interference (EMI) the cost decreased efficiency (mainly lower load resistances) increased peak root mean square values currents power components charger. Moreover, reduction in EMI is only moderate (<8.3 dB). Therefore, novel approach based on modified resonant circuits control technique obtain better without significantly compromising other performance characteristics charger proposed validated by using simulations experiments. It shown this paper that operating with for improvement has more effective implementation four-switching frequency spread-spectrum all resistances, RMS higher constant current mode beginning voltage (at than conventional frequencies.

Simulation and modeling of battery chargers/maintainers

Battery maintainers are widely used in marine and ground vehicles whose batteries have cycles of operation involving long periods of non-active life. Durability of such batteries, without proper maintenance, does not exceed one year. Extension of the battery life-time requires very thorough monitoring and periodic, preferably automatic recharging to replenish lost charge due to battery selfdisc...

A Novel Application of Zero-Current-Switching Quasiresonant Buck Converter for Battery Chargers

The main purpose of this paper is to develop a novel application of a resonant switch converter for battery chargers. A zero-current-switching ZCS converter with a quasiresonant converter QRC was used as the main structure. The proposed ZCS dc–dc battery charger has a straightforward structure, low cost, easy control, and high efficiency. The operating principles and design procedure of the pro...

Silicon nanostructure cloak operating at optical frequencies

The ability to render objects invisible using a cloak (such that they are not detectable by an external observer) has long been a tantalizing goal1–6. Here, we demonstrate a cloak operating in the near infrared at a wavelength of 1,550 nm. The cloak conceals a deformation on a flat reflecting surface, under which an object can be hidden. The device has an area of 225 mm and hides a region of 1....

Printed diodes operating at mobile phone frequencies.

Printing electronics is a revolutionary approach for fabricating mechanically flexible, low-cost, lightweight, roll-to-roll manufacturable, and large-area optoelectronic devices (1–3). This disruptive technology relies on unconventional electronic materials (semiconductors, dielectrics, conductors, passives) that can be formulated into inks and then printed into specific patterns using processe...

MoS2 transistors operating at gigahertz frequencies.

The presence of a direct band gap and an ultrathin form factor has caused a considerable interest in two-dimensional (2D) semiconductors from the transition metal dichalcogenides (TMD) family with molybdenum disulfide (MoS2) being the most studied representative of this family of materials. While diverse electronic elements, logic circuits, and optoelectronic devices have been demonstrated usin...
